A Dutch small standing Silver photo frame in mirror image, 1865. Many existing silver objects, such as a cap closure or a bracket from a embroidered sac, etc. were later made into a photo frame. This Silver is dated with the year letter F of 1865. A part of the Dutch Silver hallmark Lion 2 has faded, as is the Silver Smith's mark. It may be Jacobus Johannus Lazonder, Schoonhoven (1857-1880).

Dutch silver decorative box with a scene from the 17th century Naval War, 1952
A silver decorative box depicting the Battle of Ter Heijde or Battle of Scheveningen August 10, 1653, last naval battle of the First Anglo-Dutch War. In the center, the English flagship Resolution, commanded by Admiral George Monck, fires broadly at Brederode, the Dutch flagship of the mortally wounded Admiral Maerten Harpertsz Tromp. This scene in high relief on the lid of the silver box comes from the original painting and was painted around 1654 by Jan Abrahamsz Beerstraaten.
The Battle of Scheveningen was the last naval battle of the First Anglo-Dutch War. It took place on July 31, 1653 between the fleets of the Commonwealth of England and the Dutch Republic. The Dutch fleet suffered heavy losses. The silver box is fully Dutch silver hallmarked. "Leeuw 2" for 835/000 purity of silver, the Minerva head with letter B (hallmark) for the city of Utrecht. The silver box is dated with the year letter R for 1952. The maker's mark for G. Schoorl (Schoorl Silver N.V.) this brand was used between 1944-1972. The oval silver side is with high relief in floral en leaf pattern.

Dutch silver oval bowl, breadbasket by Schoorl/ Krot, Amsterdam, dated 1928
A beautiful oval bowl / breadbasket with five scenes of Jan Steen and an animal head depicted in each corner. The scenes in high relief in silver, these scenes are from the 17th century paintings by Jan Steen. Jan Havickszoon Steen (Leiden, 1626 – 1679) was a Dutch painter from the 17th century, the time of Northern Dutch Baroque painting. His work is world famous for its humorous and ironic view of life. He is best known for his entertaining paintings of a messy and wild household, pub scenes and quacks who try to cure heartbreak with medicine. However, his repertoire also includes serious history pieces, other genre scenes and some portraits. The Dutch expressions 'a Jan Steen household' and 'bringing life into the brewery' are derived from his work.
The oval breadbasket or decorative bowl is completely marked with the Dutch silver hallmarks. The hallmark "Lion 2" for Dutch silver with 835/000 purity of silver. The Minerva head, that is the Assayer's mark with letter "A" for the City Amsterdam. The bowl is dated with letter "S" for the Year 1928. The silver smith master mark is for the Zaanse Zilversmederij in Amsterdam-Haarlem, E. Schoorl and H.L. Krot. This master sign is used between 1920-1990.
The oval bowl/ basket measures 6.5 cm high, 31.3 cm wide and the depth is 24.7 cm.

A Dutch silver asparagus tongs with beautiful shapes, both angular and round. The handle is angular and engraved and the edges have a beautiful pattern. The tongs in a graceful flower shape with leaves. A tongs made in the Biedermeier period by Antonius Hendrikus der Kinderen (Hall mark used between 1845-1868). The asparagus tongs is Dutch silver hallmarked. The "Lion2" for 833/000 purity of silver . The Minerva head (Assayer's mark) The letter is faded, but should be "K". The silver hall mark Year letter "T" for the Year 1853. The hall mark "Master sign" for A.H. der Kinderen.

The silver frames are Dutch silver hallmarked. The first is the Dutch "Lion 2" for 835/000 purity of silver. The Minerva head with letter E (Assayer's mark) for the City Groningen. The Year Letter "F" for the Year is made 1915 and the last one is the Master sign for by Gebr. Niekerk, B. Dijkstra, Groningen (used between 1902-1927)
Inner dimensions of the Oval size are 13 cm x 10 cm. The silver frame falls slightly over the photo. The measurement is 17.3 cm high, 13 cm wide and the dept with stand is 14 cm. The weight total is 336 grams

Dutch silver Tea service, 1899-1909
A Dutch silver tea service with Dutch landscapes with floral, leaves with flower motif. The set consists of a teapot, a milk jug and a sugar bowl. The teapot on a silver brazier with silver burner. The teapot with sugar bowl and milk jug were made in 1909 (Year letter Z), by Gerardus Schoorl. These three have the hall mark "Lion 2" for 835/000 purity of silver. The brazier with silver plate is the brazier dated 1902 (Year letter S) and the Dutch hall mark "Lion 2" (835/000). The chafing dish raised on four legs with crossed connection has the same pattern. Faces at the top of the legs. The plate is dated with Year letter P for 1899 and the silversmith is Gebr. Reitsma, Sneek (Hall mark used between 1892-1948). The burner with wick is Dutch hallmarked with Lion 2 (835/000 purity of silver) and the mastersign is faded. The member has the silver hall mark "sword" (possibly added later). The spoon is Dutch hall marked with the "sword" used between 1814-1906. The teapot measures (handle height) 12 cm and 13 cm diagonal

Two napkin rings in silver made by William Hutton and Sons, round with floral engraved decor on each side a shield. One side is empty and can be engraved with monogram and the other side with "I" and the other napkin ring with "II"
The napkin rings are English silver and have the hall marks of the master sign of William Hutton & Sons, the English silver hall mark "Lion", the leopard head of the assay office for London and the Year letter "U " for the Year 1895. The napkin rings are boxed (shows traces of use)

An antique purse mount with chain with a typical Dutch scenes. One one side people at table with music instruments and left and richt side a mill (landscape) and a boat (seascape). The other side a scene with cows in landscape and the mill and boat at the sides. In between the scenes an openwork floral decoration. The silver purse mount is Dutch silver hallmarked

All spoons hallmarked with the Dutch silver hallmark Lion 2 ( 833/1000 purity of silver), Year letters for C 1887 (2 pieces, sauce - and rice spoon), the vegetable spoons with year letter E & K for 1889 and 1994. A silver standard with three diamond cut crystal bottles and a sprinkle bottle with silver cap. Rectangular and oval shape with 8 corner base, raised at 4 ball feet. The standard for the bottles with handle, which gracefully ends with 3 shaped lines with a ball in between. With weapon inscription. A helmet figure with an 19th C Empire shield shape in 4 quarters by a cross. (faded). A tiny chip on the rim of the crystal neck of one bottle. The holder is marked with the Dutch silver hallmark Yearletter G for 1816, and the importmark for France, used between 1864-1893 (see details in the last picture) And silver cap of the bottle, marked with the Dutch silver hall mark "Sword", used during 1804 till 1906.

The twelve spoons are made of silver, marked with the Dutch Hall mark "Sword" used between 1906-1953. Master sign is from the silversmith J.W. Eggerman, Zeist (mark used between 1933-1947). The round wooden coasters with a sleek upright silver edge are 10 cm diagonally for the bottle size and the outside is 13 cm diagonally. The spoon has a scalloped bowl with decorative balls on the rim, then the handle decorated with two balls and a flat end with the rim also decorated with balls.
