A beautiful square Guilloche Silver jewelery box by Emil Brenk, Germany, ca 1910
A silver box with guilloche and an oval enamel plaque with scene of a romantic couple. The man standing next to the tree and the woman kneeling next to the dog. The box stands on low semi-circular corner feet and has a hinged lid with an interior lined with green velvet fabric and compartments, including a ring compartment. The lid and the box are made of silver and are also marked with the Dutch silver hallmark ZI. At the front it is hallmarked with 925 and EB in oval. Master hall mark for Emil Brenk and 925/1000 purity of silver.

A mother of pearl pin booklet with a silver back and lock.
On the inside, the booklet has some cardboard pages for inserting pins or needles, which were pinned to a piece of fabric. The pins or needles were made by hand and were made of gold or silver.

The necks of the decanters with silver mounts have their silver hallmarks of Hermann Bauer, Germany (HB with Crown) founded since 1863. Silver 925 Sterling. (925/1000). The small round decanter has been re-marked by the jewelers company Steltman The Haque (1968-present) with the Dutch silver hallmark "Sword" (used from 1953-present) and master mark. The large round crystal decanter is made by the manufacturer Nachtmann, fine Bavarian Crystal, Germany. Marked on the bottom.

A 19th Century Dutch miniature Doll house silver tea caddy
A Dutch silver tea caddy of 2.5 cm high in octagonal shape with a thumb spoon (typical Dutch) of 1.5 cm long. The spoon made of pewter with the thumb handle in the shape of a shell. The teacaddy raised on four ball feet with a hinged lid. On the top of the lid where the knob is, there is an engraving around it. (eyelet in the knob) There is a lock in the inside, but no key is present. The tea caddy is hall marked with the Dutch "Sword" used from 1815 - 1906. Silver purity is 833/000 . The wooden hand is not included.

This is on the silver base with engraving in text, which is donated in gratitude by Baron Van Brienen van de Groote Lindt, 1864 to J.D. (Jan Dirk) Preuijt (1801-1887)
Jan Dirk Priest was a livestock farmer and mayor of Geervliet, member of the Provincial Council. Married to Cornelia Vos.

A silver tea set with a teapot, sugar bowl and a milk jug in an oval shape with a scalloped pattern and is lightly hammered. Very elegant. It is silver marked 830S, which suggests that it is Scandinavian silver (Norway).
In 1892, the silver fineness was standardized at .830 and the 830S mark became mandatory in Norway. After 1906 and before 1953 it was imported to the Netherlands and it is hall marked with the Dutch silver hall mark "V" for foreign works, the tax stamp and as well as the Dutch silver hall mark
"ZII" for the silver purity 835/000 (This Hall mark used after 1953) There is no makers mark.

A silver bowl on foot with an Ancient Greek Key pattern on the curved rim. In the center a Greek Key pattern circle with initials engraved. It is Dutch hall marked with the Dutch old tax mark for old large foreign works. This mark was used on foreign objects, after payment of taxes, between 1813-1893.
The bowl shows signs of use.

A large Dutch silver box with a high round lid, raised on four legs of dolphins. The box decorated in high relief with scenes of the 17th Century by the Dutch painter Jan Steen and handles in a ring shape with dolphins. Cheerful scenes of the 17th Century, The Golden Age by Jan Steen of dancing, playing a board game, a man and a woman in a landscape, smoking a pipe, a teacher learning to read. The box was made by Fa. gebr. Niekerk, B. Dijkstra in Groningen, dated 1911. The box has the Dutch silver hall marks of "Lion 2" for 835/000 purity of silver. The minerva head (assayers mark) "E" for Groningen, used between 1814-1927. The Year letter B for 1911 and the Silver smith hall mark. (N2) The lock is working, but there is no key available. The lock is marked with the silver hall mark "sword" used between 1906-1953. The measurement is 16 cm high, 11.5 cm wide and 9.5 cm deep.

Art Nouveau sterling silver candelabras, 1900-1920
A pair of candelabras in sterling silver in Art Nouveau style. This model was designed by Albert Mayer, Sculptor and Designer. The design of Albert Mayer is the "Eiffel" in Germany and Albert Mayer was employed and director at WMF (1884-1914). These candelabras, designed by Albert, were made of base material such as silver plated, brass, or pewter. These you see are candelabras are sterling silver, which are not made in Germany, but in America.
Joseph and his brothers, Albert and Marcus Mayer, emigrated from Germany and established a business in Seattle, Washington, in about 1895.
Joseph Mayer & Bros. from about 1895 to 1945 in Seattle. Albert and Marcus moved to Dawson City, Yukon, in 1897 during the Gold Rush there and opened a jewelry store. When they came back to Seattle a few years later, Joseph Mayer & Bros. changed its mark from a Fleur-de-lis in a triangle to a pick and shovel mark, representing the brothers' Gold Rush venture. Various versions of the mark were used, and the pick and shovel changed positions. In 1920 the business was split. Albert and Marcus established Mayer Brothers Wholesale Jewelry Co., while Joseph continued to do manufacturing as Joseph Mayer, Inc.
The candelabras are marked with 925 (925/000) purity of silver. And a mark with the pick and shovel crossed. Only with the letter M beside this. (no extra B for the Brothers). The difference of the "Eiffel" design and these candelabras are the candle nozzles and the drip catchers and these are made of Silver. The candelabras went back to Europe (The Netherlands) and eventually ended up in the 1980s at a jewelry company H.A. Gunters, The Haque. The candelabras have been re-inspected and hallmarked after 1953 silver hallmarks ZI 9925/000) and the Juweliers hall mark of H.A. Gunters (mark used from 1980-) The Haque. (The Netherlands).
The candelabras probably dates between 1900-1920 and measures 30.5 cm high, 24 cm wide and the depth is 10.2 cm. The weight is 1090 grams in total

A Sterling Silver 925/000 purity of silver table lamp in a smooth model with pearl edge. A sterling silver 27.7 cm high lamp (without shade) made in Italy by Guido Zipoli and Alberto Di Ricci. The lamp base is silver hall marked with the Italian silver hall mark " *263 FI " (Mater sign hall mark for Zipoli and Di Ricci, used between 1954-1971). The lamp base also has a Dutch silver hall mark with the "ZI" (925/000) and Master sign silver hall mark with FB (faded) Not clearly readable (Dutch marked when it arrived in The Netherlands)
The lampshade is not included, this is to show how the light falls. The taste of a lampshade is personal and determines the color of the interior.
