Vintage German Grosse Bijoux ear clips, 1966.

Turquoise stone set in leaf motif ear clips.

The German jewelry company Henkel & Grosse, founded in 1907 by Heinrich Henkel and Florentin Grosse, had its first successes after the First World War with costume jewelry made of bronze, aluminum and Bakelite. In 1955, Henkel & Grosse began its partnership with Christian Dior (1905-57) in Paris and was licensed as the sole producer and distributor of Dior jewelry.

However, in connection with its own designs, the company has always maintained its independence. From the 1960s, they expanded their portfolio with Grosse Bijoux, Grosse Sterling and Grosse Gold, with fashion always dictating the design. Brooches, necklaces and earclips in colorful, imaginative flower shapes to match the dresses of the time were produced in sets in different price ranges for a wide customer base. The earrings are in Vintage very good condition.

The measurements are 3 cm high, 2.5 cm wide and 2 cm deep.
