An oak and brown leather armchair from the Art Deco period, 1920s, The Netherlands. The wood has a beautiful handcut wooden pattern of Fleur-de-Lis flower, right and left side on top of the chair and a diamond shape rim on the backrest. The brown leather is smooth and has large round iron button pins (2 missing) on the edges.

 

The measurement is 109,5 cm high, 56 cm wide and the depth is 63 cm.

A beautiful set of very large, impressive Murano lamps. Barovier & Toso, Cordonato D'Oro Italian glass with white with gold leaf inclusions on a semi-round base. In the middle in the shape of a ball with the colors red and with gold leaf inclusions. The top in a fluted shape in the colors white with gold leaf inclusions. The shades in red velvet fabric with black fringes. 

The measurement is a total of 96.5 cm high. 

The lampshade is 25 cm high and 50 cm diagonal. 

The measurement of the lamp is 72 cm high without the lamp socket.

English 19th Century walnut Davenport desk, ca 1880

 

An 19th Century English walnut Davenport desk. The left side with drawers is the "blind" side and on the right 5 drawers and the top drawer is a drawer that can be opened via a "secret" way. This can be opened via the bottom drawer on the left side under the flap of the desk. There is a "loose" button, which is used as a pin and lock. Once this has been removed, the top drawer on the right can be opened. First you slide the drawer out and then it can turn in a right-angle bend to the front. In the interior of the desk, the bottom two drawers are "blind drawers". There are 2 drawers above these two. The desk has an openwork raised edge of wood and the lid has an embedded green leather leaf with gold print. The desk is movable on castors.

An Art Nouveau porcelain table lamp partially bisque porcelain with the Mythological figure Pan, Greek God and the base enameled in drip pattern with the colors brown and, purple to pinkish with bronze gilded base and gilded ornaments. The lamp base has a fitting piece to place in the base, so that it represents a table lamp. Details can be seen in the photos

Large Italian Murano glass table lamps, 1950s

 

Large Italian Murano glass table lamps made of slightly turned ribbed glass on a round wooden gilded base. The head consists of 2 fittings and these are adjustable. The electrical wire is still in its original condition. The glass is hand blown and has a yellow gold color and the base with straight lines of bubbles and ribs in a light swirl shape. A photo is shown as an example of what it looks like with a lampshade and side tables. (These are not included) The taste of the shape and color of a lampshade is personal in terms of interior and the side tables can be purchased separately. A table reading lamp with engraved glass with portraits from the 15th century

 

A table reading amp on a base of a book with a curved stand, on top of which is a square of glass-engraved portraits with paper in the background. The portraits are T.A. Kempis, W. Gansfort, R. Agricola and D. Erasmus. The lamp has a porcelain fitting and a short electrical wire with an old plug. The text on the spine of the book is IN ANCELLO CUM LIBELLO. ('Alone with a Book'). The lampshade is made of metal and colored in a bronze color and can be rotated. In the stand made of metal there is a name (mark), but illegible. The lid on the lampshade is loose.

Huge facade outdoor wall mount lanterns lightning , 20th Century

 

Huge Belgium facade wall lanterns, 20th century

This set of facade lighting has enormous dimensions of approximately 170 cm high (66.9 inches). The glass shade of the lamp is frosted glass under a copper round shade. The lamp is approximately 90 cm high and 54 cm diagonally. The depth is approx. 80 cm in total. This lighting has hung everywhere in the city of Diest (Belgium) and there is currently one hanging of the entrance on the wall of De Warande.

 

The Warande is a hill of Diestian iron sandstone in the middle of the city, with a donjon motte and traces of a 14th-century castle. The park was laid out in landscape style around 1880, with the keep motte as a lime arbor as the centerpiece. The park contains archaeological remains, a fence wall, a Drossaard house with a porter's house and a neoclassical mansion (1847-1848) converted into a monumental entrance gate. Acquired by the city in 1939 and has been a public park ever since.

 

The text on the memorial plaque at the entrance to the gate reads as follows:

This park, formerly the Castle Hill of the Baanderheren of Diest and later the home of the Princes of Orange-Nassau, was donated to the city of Diest in 1939 by doctor Henri Verstappen. That is why his fellow citizens remember him gratefully.

 

The set has signs of wear from the outdoors and the metal has been treated and rewired at some point in the past. The wiring will have to be reinstalled at the location where the lamps will be installed.
