An English mahogany chess table, by Richard and Son Crook, furniture makers and upholsterers, 50, Boutport street Barnstaple, c.1840. On each side of the table is a drawer for the Chess pieces to store. The table has an octagonal shape, raised on a fluted base with leaf pattern. The 4 feet has a round leaf shape (shows some wear) 

The measurement is 72 cm high, 73 and 62.5 cm wide. 

(1 Inch = 2.54 cm)

French Charles X mahogany table with white marble top, ca 1840

 

A French 19th century Charles X table with a white marble top, with double rings of reliefs and with marble in mosaic, pieces set in a star shape in the centre.

The table has a fluted leg on a square base with C-scroll lion's feet. 

The measurement of the table is 71 cm high and 104 cm diagonal.

In the photo you can see some kind of stains, but this is a natural spot in the marble.

A combination table and chair, chair-desk. An oval table raised in 5 legs with a half hinged table top. The table top has to fold back and opens into a desk, joined with a chair. The chair and on top of the desk upholstered with red leather. The leather has gold gadroon pattern. Inside in front of the desk a small drawer. Inside the drawer is the signature mark added of Maitland-Smith. The measurement is 74 cm high, 94 cm wide and the depth is 61 cm. The seat height is approx. 50 cm. The total weight is ca 23 kilos

A 19th Century English stained glass Lantern

 

A lantern with stained glass panels, placed between clamps in a brass frame. The door with a turning knob can be opened. This was used because it was originally a candle lantern, but has been converted into an electric lantern. The Crystal clear glass is facet cut with a star in the middle. Surrounding it is green facet cut crystal between painted glass with a leaf pattern. The cover plate must be attached to the ceiling with 3 screws (choice according to your own wishes). These are not included. 

The measurement of the lamp is 23 cm square and 35.5 cm high. 

The rod from the ceiling to the bottom of the lamp is 80 cm.
