Dutch painter Constant David Ludovic Artz (Paris 1870-1951 Soestdijk) Ducks by the water. The scene of the oil on panel is three ducks on the grass side and mother duck with 5 duclings in the water, surrounded by trees

 

Constant Artz, became best known for his waterscapes with ducks and son of David Adolphe Constant Artz (1837-1890) and often painted fishermen's life

 

Signed lower right and dated on reverse 28 Oct. 1948

 

The measurement of the panel is 13 cm high and 18 cm wide

 

Framed 26.6 cm high, 31.5 cm wide and the depth is 7 cm

(incl. standard) x 50 cm x 85 cm 20th Century Ekoi people, also known as Ejagham, are an ethnic group in the extreme southeast of Nigeria and extending eastward into the southwest region of Cameroon.

The Ekoi have lived closely with the nearby Efik, Annang, Ibibio and Igbo people of southeastern Nigeria.

The Ekoi are best known for their Ekpe headdresses.

They traditionally use Nsibidi ideograms, and may be the group that originally created them.

3rd Tableau, Represents a squadron making a man-made U-turn to the right, a maneuver used in cavalry since the Peace of 1748 and which the speech sought deflection to prove. 

 

4th Tableau, Represents a squadron making a U-turn to the right in four steps, infinitely easy to maneuver, capable of keeping in line, and capable of being made with the utmost order in the presence of the enemy
